At Terra Energy Solutions, we bring on apprentices and college students to brighten their futures.
Giving the younger generation real-world experience helps them improve their appeal to future employers. We are more than happy to give the youth a head start in their career, and help them learn everything they need to know about solar installation and how to do it properly
Driven by passion
Due to the underfunding of apprenticeships, we know of countless skilled electricians who cannot or will not take them on. However, no matter the financial challenge, we take on apprentices to the best of our ability and give them the best chances they can get. Not only do we take on apprentices, but we also have a college student currently working for us, creating media and content for us to use.
Aprenticeships
We offer the highest-grade 4-year apprenticeships for hard-working, committed young people who work well as a team and excel at hands-on work. This will result in you having great experience working with a smaller company that has good morale and works to a luxury standard, leaving you with a great qualification and work ethic that will set you apart from the crowd to future employers.
College Work Placement
We also work with Nottingham, Lincoln, and Newark College to allow students to fulfil their required hours while also gaining valuable skills and real-world experience when working in a smaller business. this means that it is a valuable opportunity to gain impressive talking points on your CV to increase your employability. Due to it being a smaller company, the work placement offers huge opportunity and creative freedom, allowing the student to create and explore, which other companies would not be able to allow.
Work Experience
Either single-day or week-long placements. We will aim to embed you within one of our installation teams, so you can learn all aspects of being a day-to-day electrician. Earn yourself some valuable experience to put onto your CV and stand out from the crowd
